FAQ

What is Cloaking?

Cloaking is a traffic filtering technology that allows showing different pages to different visitors.

Target traffic is directed to the Offer Page, while moderators, bots, and unwanted users are directed to the White Page.

What can Cloaking.House do?

Cloaking.House is a traffic filtering service that automatically divides visitors into target and non-target visitors.

Real users are directed to the Offer Page, while moderators, bots, and suspicious traffic are directed to the safe White Page.

The platform analyzes numerous parameters: IP address, device, browser, geolocation, ISP, VPN/Proxy, and other signals.

What are White Page and Offer Page?

White Page — a safe page shown to moderators, bots, and non-target traffic. Typically, these are users who do not pass filtering by GEO, devices, browsers, and other flow parameters.

Offer Page — the target page or offer to which the system redirects real user traffic.

Does the system process traffic from all devices?

Yes. Cloaking.House processes traffic from all modern devices.

The system automatically detects device type, operating system, browser, and other user parameters for correct traffic filtering.

What is Cloaking filtering?

Cloaking filtering is a protection system against moderators, bots, and automatic checks from advertising platforms.

When the feature is enabled, such traffic is automatically redirected to the White Page, while real users are shown the Offer Page.

What is VPN/Proxy filtering?

VPN/Proxy filtering allows detection of users who use proxy servers or VPN to hide their IP address and real location.

Such traffic is often used by bots, moderators, and automatic checking systems, so it can be automatically redirected to the White Page.

What is IPv6 filtering?

IPv6 filtering allows detection of traffic with IPv6 addresses. In some advertising campaigns, such traffic may be used by bots, moderators, or automatic checking systems.

When the filter is enabled, visitors with IPv6 addresses can be automatically redirected to the White Page.

What is filtering of users without ISP?

ISP is the user's internet service provider. In most cases, a real visitor's provider can always be determined by their IP address.

If the system cannot determine the ISP, such traffic may be considered suspicious (e.g., bots or checking systems) and automatically redirected to the White Page.

What is filtering of users without Referrer?

Filtering without Referrer allows restricting access to the Offer Page for users who come directly via the link.

Normally, visitors who come from advertising or from other websites have a Referrer (source of transition).

Moderators and checking systems often open the link directly from the address bar, so such traffic can be automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does "Number of clicks from one IP per day" mean?

This parameter allows limiting the number of transitions from one IP address within one day.

If the set limit is exceeded, all subsequent transitions from that IP are automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does "Number of clicks before filtering" mean?

This parameter allows setting the number of first transitions that are processed without applying filtering.

As long as the set limit is not reached, visitors are directed to the White Page.

After exceeding the specified number of clicks, the cloaking system begins to work.

How often are statistics updated?

Statistics in Cloaking.House are updated in real-time and synchronized approximately every minute.

What do flow statuses mean?

Two flow statuses are available in the system: Active and Pause.

Active — the flow receives traffic, analyzes visitors, and applies all configured filters.

Pause — filtering is disabled and all incoming traffic is automatically redirected to the White Page.

If the subscription is not renewed on time, the flow is automatically set to "Pause" status.

What verticals can be promoted with Cloaking.House?

Cloaking.House is suitable for working with most arbitrage verticals: Nutra, Gambling, Betting, Dating, Crypto, Apps, and other types of advertising campaigns.

What bots can the system detect?

What does the "Client" filter mean?

The Client filter is triggered when the flow is active and the visitor meets all set filter conditions.

In this case, the user is considered a target user and automatically redirected to the Offer Page.

What does the "On Pause" filter mean?

The On Pause filter is triggered when the flow is set to pause status.

In this mode, filtering is disabled and all incoming traffic is automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does the "Clicks IP Per Day" filter mean?

The Clicks IP Per Day filter is triggered when the number of transitions from one IP address per day exceeds the set limit.

After exceeding the limit, all subsequent transitions from that IP are automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does the "Clicks Before Filtering" filter mean?

The Clicks Before Filtering filter is used to set the number of first transitions that are processed without applying filtering.

As long as the set click limit is not reached, visitors are redirected to the White Page. After exceeding the limit, the traffic filtering system begins to work.

What does the "Cloaking" filter mean?

The Cloaking filter is triggered when the system identifies the visitor as a bot, moderator, or automatic checking system.

If the user's IP address has suspicious parameters (e.g., country, internet provider, device, or operating system cannot be determined), such traffic is automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does the "IPv6" filter mean?

The IPv6 filter is triggered when the visitor's IP address is identified as IPv6.

When the filter is enabled, such traffic is considered unwanted and automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does the "Referer" filter mean?

The Referer filter is triggered when the visitor lacks a transition source (Referer) or the user pastes the link directly into the browser's address bar.

When the filter is triggered, such traffic is considered unwanted and automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does the "ISP" filter mean?

The ISP filter is triggered when the system cannot determine the visitor's internet service provider by their IP address.

When the filter is triggered, such traffic is considered suspicious and automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does the "Country" filter mean?

The Country filter is triggered when the system cannot determine the visitor's country by their IP address or the user comes from a country that is not allowed in the flow settings.

When the filter is triggered, such traffic is automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does the "Device" filter mean?

The Device filter is triggered when the system cannot determine the visitor's device type by their User Agent or the user comes from a device that is not allowed in the flow settings.

When the filter is triggered, such traffic is automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does the "OS" filter mean?

The OS filter is triggered when the system cannot determine the visitor's device operating system by their User Agent or the user comes from an operating system that is not allowed in the flow settings.

When the filter is triggered, such traffic is automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does the "Browser" filter mean?

The Browser filter is triggered when the system cannot determine the visitor's browser by their User Agent or the user comes from a browser that is not allowed in the flow settings.

When the filter is triggered, such traffic is automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does the "Black IP" filter mean?

The Black IP filter is triggered when the visitor's IP address is present in the database of suspicious or previously observed unwanted traffic sources.

This can happen if transitions from bots, moderators, or other suspicious sources were previously recorded from this IP.

When the filter is triggered, such traffic is automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does the "VPN/Proxy" filter mean?

The VPN/Proxy filter is triggered when the visitor's IP address is identified as a VPN or proxy server.

Such connections are often used to mask the actual location, so this traffic is considered unwanted when the filter is enabled.

When the filter is triggered, the user is automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does the "Black List" filter mean?

The Black List filter is triggered when the visitor matches one of the rules added to the blacklist.

Various parameters can be added to the blacklist, for example: IP address, User Agent, internet service provider (ISP), or Referer.

When matching one of the rules, such traffic is automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does the "White List" filter mean?

The White List filter allows access only for visitors who meet the set conditions.

The following parameters can be added to the whitelist:

IP address

Internet service provider (ISP)

User Agent

Referer

If the visitor does not match at least one of the specified conditions, they are automatically redirected to the White Page.

Important: flow settings have higher priority than the White List. If the user does not pass the basic flow filters, they will be shown the White Page, even if they were added to the whitelist.

What does the "White IP" filter mean?

The White IP filter is triggered when the visitor's IP address matches an IP added to the allowed list.

This filter is used for testing the flow before launching advertising traffic.

When the IP matches, the user is considered trusted and always redirected to the Offer Page, regardless of other filter settings.

What does the "Language" filter mean?

The Language filter is triggered when the visitor's browser language is not included in the list of allowed languages specified in the flow settings.

The filter can also be triggered if the system cannot determine the browser language or detects non-standard request headers.

When the filter is triggered, such traffic is automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does the "Time Zone" filter mean?

The Time Zone filter is triggered when the visitor's time zone, determined by their IP address, is not included in the list of allowed time zones in the flow settings.

This filter helps control traffic geography more accurately and identify suspicious transitions, for example when the IP country and user's time zone do not match.

When the filter is triggered, such traffic is automatically redirected to the White Page.

What does the "Connection Type" filter mean?

The Connection Type filter is triggered when the visitor's internet connection type, determined by their IP address, is not included in the list of allowed types in the flow settings.

Available connection types:

Satellite connection — internet access via satellite channels.

Corporate network — connections from data centers, internal corporate networks, or VPN.

Mobile connection — mobile internet from carriers (3G / 4G / 5G).

Cable / DSL — standard connection via internet service providers.

The filter allows controlling traffic quality and blocking unwanted sources.

When the filter is triggered, the user is automatically redirected to the White Page.
